INTEGRATIVE TRAINING, APPRENTICESHIP & INITIATION
Shamanic School
The School of Visionary Hearts is a shamanic mystery school offering online and in-person ceremonial training into the healing arts of earth-honoring animism and reconnection to the living soul of Creation. Our lineage-based apprenticeships and immersions support deep healing, spiritual maturation, and the cultivation of discernment, integrity, and embodied service.
This is a space intentionally held as safe for healers to heal—a place where professional identities can be set down, where there is no fixing, no proving, and no hierarchy, and where the healer is invited to become the one who receives. We warmly welcome psychotherapists, counselors, nurses, doctors, and helping professionals who are called to this work not to perform or provide, but to rest, restore, and receive their own healing—addressing burnout, over-holding, and compassion fatigue through nervous-system-aware, trauma-informed care.
Our work consciously marries ancient ceremonial wisdom with ecopsychology and is nervous-system-aware, trauma-informed, embodiment-based, relational, integration-oriented, and grounded in ethical, consent-based practice — so those who hold others can be held, and healing can unfold at the pace of safety, integrity, and genuine integration. Learning here is experiential: wisdom is not only studied, but lived, integrated, and expressed in service to Life — where the Love Revolution becomes embodied capacity rather than ideology.

Star River Sanctuary at Crystal Mountain
Star River Sanctuary is the land-based heart of Visionary Hearts — a beautiful and wild living sanctuary created in response to the needs of this time. We hold that the experience of natural peace and beauty is a basic human right, and that stewarding places of intact, living Earth is an essential service during this period of ecological crisis and human disconnection.
This land is tended as a living prayer — a place of return to wholeness within the Great Web of Life. Through ceremony, retreat, and time in relationship with the land, the Sanctuary offers restoration and remembrance for those who have carried much. With thriving gardens continually in bloom and overflowing with abundance, pure wild spring water, and direct access to vast wilderness, this land is medicine — nourishing the heart, calming the nervous system, and reawakening belonging as a lived experience of the Way of Love. We steward this land in devotion and reciprocity, in service to Life and future generations.

Spiritual Community
For over 15 years, Visionary Hearts has been cultivating a spiritual community through work held in sacred ceremonial circles, where healing is potentiated through the collective field. This community of practice and spiritual adulthood is a place where those who care for others are also cared for—a relational field where healers, helpers, and sincere seekers can be met as whole human beings, beyond roles, expertise, or spiritual performance.
When someone begins working with us, they are invited into a living network of hearts devoted to healing, practice, accountability, and mutual care. Here, no one walks alone, and transformation unfolds through relationship, belonging, and the shared practice of the Way of Love.

This was my fourth visit to Star River for my apprenticeship in Peruvian Shamanism. Each time has built on the previous, deepening my quest to gaze beyond the veil. The teachings have been profound and exquisite; keeping pace with the evolutionary times.
This last session in mid-July also blew my mind with the verdant landscape. Everywhere I looked in the garden was abundant- berries or fruit, flowers or veg singing to the pollinators about to ripen or ready to be picked.
My heart still glows with joy and reverence. 🙏

As a ceremonial practitioner, Robin is bridging ancient cross-cultural shamanic wisdom, transformational art and creativity, quantum healing modalities, and Kamaska curanderismo within the dynamic evolutionary waves of the emergent global psychedelic renaissance. Her syncretic and integral approach empowers each individual to become the shaman of their own healing and awakening journey.
Informed by her personal story and hard-won lessons, Robin will guide you with clarity and compassion. Having experienced her own healing journey, which included working with the wisdom keepers of the sacred medicines through which she found profound healing through her ceremonial work.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in ecopsychology and environmental studies from Naropa University, and a master’s degree in good and sustainable communities from Northern Arizona University. Since 1999, Robin’s been mentored by beloved elders and generous wisdom keepers from South and North America in the art of ceremony.
